Anniversary Party!

It is an incredible experience to go to a SubCo party for the first time. The room was decorated so colourfully and beautifully, and there were so many people in attendance and all dressed up so nicely. It was wonderful to see the finished memory quilt, which of course looked fantastic. There was a short ceremony where certificates were given to all those who volunteered and helped our project along the way, and a heritage display which was testament to their involvement and hard work sharing their own stories. Although I had to go before lunch was served, I still watched a great dance performance by the service users before I left.
