Multimedia Training Session 1 - 5th June, 2018

With a group of three staff members, five service users, and a carer, we thought about how we could make a video to promote our 'Growing Old Gracefully' project, and what should go into it. We looked at some examples from Eastside's previous project work, and the volunteers discussed putting together film, photos, and sound, and how they should shoot video interviews. Together, we made a mind map, and used it to come up with questions we could ask on camera. The volunteers quickly picked up how to use the film camera and audio recorder, and were confident behind the camera directing and interviewing, as well being filmed.
