We had another wonderful session, with a group of twelve enthusiastic volunteers (five SubCo staff and seven service users), this time putting together all the necessary resources to run their own workshops. We continued with the theme of smell, and put together five activities in small groups. Some of the volunteers had the opportunity to look for old photos of Green Street on our archiving software, Calm. Others sourced pictures from the internet associated with evocative smells, or made ice breaker cue cards. At the end we came together to run a practice session to ensure everyone was familiar with the activities, and happy to lead reminiscence sessions. The participants had a lot of fun guessing smells, and experienced the amount of printing and laminating which goes on behind the scenes!
